The Baby Drinks

It’s been a long week, and you’re dying for a break. Well, I have the perfect solution. Every Wednesday I will offer a drink to the viewers for “Whine Down Wednesdays.” You don’t have to wait until the weekend arrives to enjoy a great drink. Take a break and have a sip of A Taste of Heaven.

I had just landed in Atlanta airport, and I was eager to grab brunch in with my friends and family. Since we were close to Midtown, we ventured to Joe’s on Juniper. Not only were going for brunch, but we were also going to celebrate my cousin’s 21st birthday. Finally, my baby cousin was old enough to have drinks with me. Since she was a newbie to the scene, I wanted her first drink to be “cute.” This taste of heaven is a Pineapple Upside Down martini. Its whipped vodka, pineapple juice, and grenadine. The Pineapple Upside Down martini is similar to the shot from Ray’s New York Pizza; the only difference is the martini glass that it’s served in. I wanted to start her off small because our next stop was the Daiquiri Factory. (Side Note: Kevin Hart voice: “It’s about to go DOWN!”)

FOOD TIP: Pinnacle martinis are only $5 at Joe's on Juniper.
